Ash Sutton has praised the TCR concept after a successful maiden outing in TCR Europe at the Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona in Spain this weekend [20-21 October] that culminated in a podium finish. Partnering with TCR UK Teams’ Champions WestCoast Racing in a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR for the season-concluding double header, Sutton got his second taste of TCR machinery after piloting the Verizon Connect Racing Honda Civic Type R to a double victory at Oulton Park in June. Ashley Sutton joins WestCoast Racing for TCR Europe finale at Barcelona WestCoast Racing enters the final raceweekend in TCR Europe at Barcelona where 2017 BTCC-champion and current BTCC race winner Ashley Sutton joins the team. Brands Hatch was all about signing the season off with on a positive note! The pace we set in both free practice seasons was a very good start to doing exactly that! The weekend was the make or break of the championship.
